Having a strong message—and being able to convey it—is essential to effective policy communications. This session from the Grand Challenges for Social Work features panelists John Beilenson, Lissa Johnson, and Ron Manderscheid. They guide participants in developing policy messages from their research and practice experience. The webinar includes the basics of identifying audiences, choosing the right vehicles to carry your message, and preparing various policy tools, particularly policy briefs and 1-page leave-behinds. This program was presented in partnership with the Grand Challenges for Social Work initiative.
